The first Chronicle
A new dawn arises on the planet of Kirran as its white dwarf sun shines over the horizon. Slowly the metropolitan city is bathed in luminescent light. The sunlight cracks through the city skyscrapers; awaiting the hum of traffic and bartering on this financial capital. Slowly the sunlight rose higher and showed the city full of charred remains and broken buildings.
Corpses laid spread all over the city floor; millions of eroding skeletons littered the quiet hallways. The walls were scorched, the doors broken from the frame and not a single noise could be heard. Local Justicar vessels were imbedded in buildings and crashed on the ground. Even the Justicar corpses were unable to leave the ships as their remains scattered the crash sites.
A city of many species with no enemies simply being destroyed overnight, the extent of casualties no less then 33 million. Never has such an even occurred in galactic history; little own to the Human Empire.
But this was only the first move of a chess game like no other. Of all the scale only a single clue was left; a colossal obelisk in the center of the city. Construct of the invincible metal; hex and in quantities never seen before, a quake of fear quickly spread throughout the known universe.
This single event brought together many civilizations and in a short year has given reason for the Central Office of Supreme Mutuality or COSM to exist. But even with the massive fleets that COSM control they have not been able to suppress the now growing attacks and campaigns. Alongside COSM many races have declared war on others with little care for consequence. Even the elite Justicar organization has been unable to suppress panic and conflict.
Now the unknown culprits of the Kirran event have been identified as the Andromeda Omega; an army of android’s depicted to eradicating all others. But even knowing their opponent has only but plunged the universe into chaos.
In the 5 years since Kirran was eradicated the fraction of the known universe has begun a suicidal campaign of self destruction. Only a few still remain loyal to COSM as most planets have declared a state of free-for all. The android push continues to grow in strength as all fight to survive. But the Andromeda Omega has far from won; as after all when one power arises another grows faster in its shadow.
But one must remember this is not a fight of good and evil but another event that will shape the universe beyond what we know.
As such I welcome those whom have chosen to take the banner.
